Group Management Coaching
Leadership development programs are custom designed to meet the needs of managers at every level. Managers often take on a working-leader role with their first promotion. This involves being an individual contributor, as well as managing the work of others. The big surprise at this level of promotion is the dilemma of being the manager today, of someone who was a peer yesterday. New managers tend to respond either by being too bossy or being too buddy oriented. Neither of those strategies is optimal.
Group management coaching helps managers acquire the building blocks of leadership development (interviewing, performance reviews, feedback, delegation) while developing valuable connections with other managers who are also learning these skills.
Monthly leadership coaching programs are offered for supervisors and middle managers to develop management basics and apply those skills to current management challenges. This highly interactive format invites participants to engage with each other, thereby building a community of similarly dedicated managers who can be a resource for each other, and reinforce the learning by hearing about challenges others face, and how they address them.
